SE's coming up with a new line, independent from their other phones and by the looks of it is produced by HTC. I think this collaboration will do just fine, meshing smartphone, looks, and overall mobile experience. Without further ado: The X1
Sounds like a sonic jet or something. I wouldn't call it the iPhone killer yet, but I think it will stand up to it. On paper it already does look like it's doing a good job. Checkitout homes:

Who doesnt want 3G, a full qwerty keyboard, 3.2 megapixels? Well iPhone users don't seem to. I even bet it's unlocked. hee. I smell WinMo vs. OSX

Anyway, who am I to talk about this, I don't have a smartphone, haven't touched one, and am dirt poor. Somebody pay me for my hyped previews!

But still, I want one. So til then, here are more pics.

so  what's wrong with this picture?

So Microsoft releases their much awaited DAP which not only similar to the iPod in a way, but presents more bells and whistles.

I bring you the Zune

Not only does it look sweet, the features are something iPods have been long demanded of, including
-wifi (zune-to-zune sharing)
-fm (well, hello there)
-bigger screen (3", sweet!)
-and finally, support for landscape and portrait viewing.
all this with the standard audio, video and image viewing that we've all come to know of (unprotected WMA, MP3, AAC; photos in JPEG; and videos in WMV, MPEG-4, H.264).

it also comes with its own device/download/purchase/image manager, also called the zune

some of you might say that it looks like a skinned iTunes. nice.

anyway, no news on pricing and release yet, only that it comes in 30GB trim, and in three colors: black, white and brown. i personally like the brown one hehe.
