Mmm. Liv Tyler. Still gorgeous.

Okok wait. The movie wasn't so bad but not as good as Iron Man. I'd like to think that although the movie's about this huge green dude, it still had touches of realism (di tinatablan ng helicopter pero nasaktan nung nauntog, brazil to virginia in a couple of days, you know what I mean) well nag-ukay din naman pala ang superheroes. Anyway watchout for a ton of cameos and surprises :D yun lang.

Next up:
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America
Avengers!

2.5 i guess. Truck(trunk?)loads of CGI, Ridge Racer/Wipeout-style for
videogame fans. Story was so-so.

RACER X is Rex Racer! (as if you didn't know).

I think the Grand Prix version of the Mahha Go was awesome. Cool Beans!

I didn't really grow up to U2's music right from the start, but they're just there all the time when I listen to the radio or watch TV, seeing that they were already making music when I was born (or even before?). I've been wanting to buy their music but with my limited knowledge of their hits, I'm just clueless on which specific album to buy. But their popular tracks are undoubtedly familiar to me, and I think the older ones are the better ones. I've always thought of the comment na "ang galing talaga nila" as useless because it's a bit hard to relate to, most especially in a review but I doubt it if anyone will disagree when I say na ang galing ng U2! Unless you're a bit deprived of oxygen in the brain or something, it's not hard to like a couple of tracks from these artists.

My personal faves are Sunday Bloody Sunday and City of Blinding Lights. Sadly, the latter isnt on the the U218 album but thats ok, the other ones listed are just as good. Anyway, here's the complete tracklist:

1. Beautiful Day
2. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
3. Pride (in The Name Of Love)
4. With Or Without You
5. Vertigo
6. New Year's Day
7. Mysterious Ways
8. Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of
9. Where The Streets Have No Name
10. Sweetest Thing
11. Sunday Bloody Sunday
12. One
13. Desire
14. Walk On
15. Elevation
16. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
17. The Saints Are Coming
18. Window In The Skies

As I'm writing this I found that there's a Deluxe edition of this particular compilation and that it has a DVD. Kainis. Anyway i'm just saving my money for other older U2 compilations or probably that Ultimate Superman 14-disc set but that's another story.

So there, hope you guys like this compilation as much as I did. And please, buy original.

Since I write such crass reviews which lie within the borders of the categories General and Pointless, I will now point my attention to something very unique, espeyshal and dear to me, my non-brand spanking new PC. 1.8 Ghz (1.73 actually) of pure untapped computing power (eh?), 50 Gigabytes which surely can hold all my digital information and a DVD drive that most definitely can read DVDs, but wont tell the PC whats in them. In case you didn't notice the last sentence was swimming in chest-deep sarcasm. But lo and behold, my rig actually performs! Thanks to the all-pirated platoon of programs, I take advantage of the 128 MB DDR of dedicated video memory along with 512MB DDR of RAM getting PMS everyday, a Creative Soundblaster sound card, which who cares what model it is, I think it supports up to 5 channels...surround sound baybeeh and lastly, a cool casing which makes it color-coordinated with my room. (And my multiply page)

I had a fit the first time I got it because it was certainly not the system it was supposed to be, littered with ad and spyware, slower than metro traffic, and didnt even give its vital stats right, I mean it's supposed to be 2.1-40-512 but it was giving me 1.8-10???-256. This was most outrageously unacceptable so I spent all the pasa load mother provides me to complain to the person last seen consuming electricity operating it. Turns out theres something with AMD and branding their products, how is it AthlonXP 2100 when it only churns out 2100Mhz minus 300 thousand hertz? Meh. As for storage the owner admitted teh booboo and more than sufficiently provided a brand new HD which makes my vaults of darkness, deceit and spyware a total of 50 GB. And lastly I had to sweat a couple of liters to make the memory perform which cost me my weekend and precious time with my friends and specially my girlfriend (I'm really sorry Jan..) But thanks to the almighty format and reinstall, Windows XtraPirated has found its way onto my maze of circuits and wires which makes it possible for me to write what you read here.

Hay.

and now back to our regular programming

Woohoo~ you can almost taste the set! I dont really eat chocolates so I wasnt really keen on watching this but johnny depp is really weird. So cool. And so I watched it. Its something that would appeal to kids, obviously, but tim burton still injects that weird factor bordering on comedy (burning dolls?, dont even mention the oompaloompas ) or the other way around..:P. In fact CaTCF is lighter than say, Nightmare Before Christmas.

I am at it again with bitin reviews.

1st Issue blues... For comics, in my opinion that is, #1 issues should be the
best issue ever for the series. But if this movie was a comic, there wasnt really anything to convince me to buy the damn thing.

Entertaining and all, but not really amazing.
